What fenome is
fenome helps you track and understand your own biomarkers over time. It offers general wellness information. It is not medical advice and not a diagnosis, and it never predicts disease or directs treatment. Decisions about your health belong with you and your clinician.
The data we hold
Your account details (name, email), the profile you provide (biological sex, date of birth, country, unit preference), the lab report files you upload, the biomarker readings read from them, and any life events you add. Health data is special-category data. We process it only with the explicit consent you give at signup, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting your data or your account.
How it’s processed and stored
When you upload a report, an AI service (currently Anthropic) reads it to pick out your biomarker values. Under their API terms, your documents are not used to train their models. Your data lives with Supabase in the EU (Ireland), encrypted in transit and at rest, and isolated so only your signed-in account can read it. The app runs on Vercel. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone else.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays until you remove it. Profile → Delete all my data wipes your reports, readings, events and files immediately. Delete account and all data also removes your account. Both are permanent.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or erase your data, and complain to the ICO. Most of this you can do in the app yourself: view and edit readings, or delete everything. For anything else, write to us and we’ll help.
The beta deal
fenome is an invite-only beta, provided as-is and free of charge. Please verify your readings. AI can misread a report, which is exactly why nothing counts until you confirm it. We may change or pause the service while it’s in beta. If we ever ended it, you’d get the chance to delete or take a copy of your data first.
